The Experience
Queen Bee Greenscapes workshops are hands-on and unhurried. You'll layer, plant, and style your own terrarium to take home, with everything provided: the vessel, the plants, the soil, the tools, and Tanya's guidance. Just bring yourself and whoever you want to share it with.
Suitable for complete beginners.
No experience needed, just a love of green things and a couple of hours to slow down.

WORKSHOPS
public
Public workshops are small, unhurried sessions of no more than six people, at Tanya's studio in Boolaroo. Choose a forest floor scene with its own vertical moss wall, an enchanted forest with a little hobbit door, or a coastal or natural succulent landscape. Everything is provided, from hand-mixed soil and sustainably foraged materials to your glass vessel, tools and morning tea. No experience is needed. Tanya guides every build from the first layer to the final detail, and you'll carry home a living landscape made with your own hands. Browse upcoming workshops below and secure your spot.

WORKSHOPS
Private terrarium workshops can be tailored to suit your occasion. A birthday celebration. A mother and daughter day. A girls' get-together. A hen's party that goes home with living art. A team building session that actually feels good. A school holiday activity that puts little hands in soil and away from screens. Groups of up to six can gather at Tanya's studio in Boolaroo, or she can bring the workshop to a venue of your choosing anywhere in the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie area, where larger groups are very welcome.
